So much thoughtful planning went into this proposal. Nate reached out to me a couple of months before so we could dream up the perfect surprise for Alyssa. He planned a walk along the Trinity Trails (with their sweet pup, of course!), and a romantic picnic. He told Alyssa they were going to do their own fun photoshoot together, so he set up a camera to record the proposal. Meanwhile, I was hidden and ready to capture the moment he got down on one knee to ask Alyssa to marry him. It was absolutely perfect!

Not only is it meaningful to their love story, but just look at that view! This spot made for such a sweet place to propose in Fort Worth, with the flowing river and downtown skyline. It’s the perfect mix of seclusion with an urban feel. After some fun couples portraits, they popped champagne and enjoyed a lovely picnic by the water. Highly recommend choosing a location where you can relax and soak it all in after!

As you know, the weather in Texas can be quite unpredictable. During the weekend of Nate and Alyssa’s proposal, there was a warm front with 20+ mph winds! We made the most of it, and honestly, I’d say the wind actually helped make some pretty cinematic photos. Alyssa has the prettiest curly hair, which danced beautifully in the wind. It only made everything feel more whimsical!
