Growing up, I've always seemed to be a people watcher. There's just something so interesting–perhaps, beautiful–about watching human interaction. Sometimes, I feel like wedding days are as simple and beautiful as spending a whole day people watching.
Like watching the way the groom looks at his bride walking down the aisle in the moments leading up to becoming husband and wife. Or watching the way a mom admires her daughter as she's buttoning up her wedding dress. I never imagined that the simple act of noticing and watching could bloom into something as beautiful as documenting wedding days, and I couldn't be more grateful that it did!
Looking back, it seems as though I’ve always dabbled in photography, even as a kid. My family can attest that I’ve always loved taking pictures, whether it was of flowers in our backyard or begging my sisters to do photoshoots with me in the living room.
After graduating high school in 2018, going off to college for the next four years didn't exactly feel right for me. Nevertheless, I decided to try it out by going to Navarro College (go bulldogs!) where I got my Associates degree in General Studies. A couple years after I graduated college, I found myself ready to change jobs after working for nearly 5 years at a non-profit organization. Still not exactly sure what my new job would look like, my husband encouraged me to pick up a camera and start shooting "for fun" while I figured out what I wanted to pursue.
Fast forward to today, I’m now serving people through photography full time, and I couldn’t be more absolutely in love with what I get to do. There are many times I find myself getting suddenly overwhelmed at the thought of how truly incredible my job is because...
Photography allows me to serve and love people in such a special way. It's one of the few things that gets me up before the sun and keeps me up into the late hours of the night. I couldn't ask for anything better!

I'm an extrovert at heart and absolutely love meeting new people, who very quickly turn into new friends! It's always so fun to meet every client for the first time and get to know their story and bring it to life!

I have so many childhood memories of sitting on the big, brown leather couch in my parents' living room and looking through my baby pictures and old family photos. Now I get to give people that same gift of capturing their memories to one day look back on.

The thought of knowing that I get to wake up everyday and do what I truly love and call it a job is one of the most motivating and humbling experiences. I wake up everyday so incredibly humbled and grateful that couples continue to trust me to do what I love by capturing their love.

I like to think I have a broad spectrum of music that I listen to. If you were to hit “shuffle” on my Spotify account, you’d probably hear songs from artists like Cody Johnson, CCM, Taylor Swift, and a mix of classical covers.

I’ve always been told I have an old soul. That’s probably why you can find me in an antique store when I’m not working. And I have a slight obsession with ducks — specifically white pekin ducks. I may or may not have a bunch of antique duck decor scattered around my house.
About the ducks...
My go-to order is a hot London Fog with extra vanilla, or an iced green tea with lemonade. It's also essential and routine for me to have Chick-Fil-A before every wedding I shoot. No joke. Unless it’s a Sunday, then I have to find a substitution.
