Sergio and Melissa’s proposal at Winfrey Point in Dallas was such a sweet and sentimental day to capture. Although they’re not from Texas, they were in town to see Peso Pluma perform, and Sergio knew it would be the perfect opportunity to propose the next day. He reached out before their trip wanting a scenic spot with a beautiful water view, and Winfrey Point on White Rock Lake could not have been a better fit. Despite the overcast weather, everything came together so perfectly, and I’m so thankful I got to be part of this special moment!

Winfrey Point on White Rock Lake is such a stunning proposal spot. With the water views, downtown overlook, and lots of greenery, it’s perfect for couples who want something romantic and intimate without feeling overly formal. It’s near The Dallas Arboretum, yet feels tucked away in the best way.
When planning a White Rock Lake proposal, I always recommend choosing a location that feels beautiful in every season. Winfrey Point is one of those spots that still feels dreamy even when the sky is a little cloudy, which made it such a sweet fit for Sergio and Melissa’s proposal.
A Sweet Mariachi Surprise
Sergio is a true romantic! He hired a mariachi band to play as he and Melissa walked up to the proposal spot, and their music made the photoshoot feel even more like a dream. Music has such a sweet way of connecting everyone, and the band added the most sentimental touch to their surprise proposal. It made the whole moment feel personal, joyful, and so true to them.
