A Colorful, Faith-Filled Wedding Day at Bella Cavalli Events
When I think about everything I love about weddings, Dennis and Yeeun’s checked all the boxes. Their wedding day was Christ-centered, filled with culture, and brought to life with so much color! Bella Cavalli Events in Aubrey, Texas, located north of Dallas, was a stunning venue choice for their elegant decor and timeless wedding photos. I can’t get over the stunning florals they chose (which they personally arranged themselves)! The pinks and yellows reflected their bright personalities and paired beautifully with the warm green of the bridesmaid dresses. And I can’t say enough great things about the vendors from this wedding. They did an amazing job creating a picture perfect day for the lovely couple. When I say every detail of this wedding was perfect, I absolutely mean it!
Christ Centered Worship at The Altar
The most impactful moments from this wedding was by far the worship. During the ceremony, the bride and groom, along with all of their guests sang “How Great Thou Art”, and ended the night with one last time of worship. I couldn’t help but fight back a few tears because of how moving it all was. You could feel the Holy Spirit with us in every moment. Watching Dennis and Yeeun put the Lord first in their marriage was truly so beautiful. This is what weddings are all about – the gift of grace and love we have in Jesus Christ, surrounded by those who matter most to us. I count myself so lucky to have this job!
The Importance of Community on Your Wedding Day
Dennis and Yeeun have an amazing group of friends, and lucky for me, I’ve had the joy of capturing weddings from their friend group throughout the past year! It made this wedding even more special seeing familiar faces and experiencing firsthand their authentic friendships that I find so inspiring.
A moment that made me remember why I do what I do, was surprisingly during groomsmen photos. Typically, groomsmen aren’t the most excited to take pictures (who can blame them?), but when it came time to snap photos of Dennis and his friends, they were prepared with fun ideas and were truly SO excited. This stopped me in my tracks! I couldn’t help but comment on their excitement, leading one of the groomsmen to say “these are literally some of the most special photos we’re going to have with Dennis.” This comment reminded me why what I do is so important. I’ll never stop thanking God for the opportunity to capture moments like this!
