Karisa and Tyler grew up together in Rockwall, TX, making memories on a close family friend’s property. During their session, they fished, frolicked around, and soaked up the warm summer sun. We had the most perfect evening, dancing under the setting sun and listening to the crickets start to sing their evening song. 

It may seem like an ordinary open field, but to them, it’s a major part of their unique love story. One of the best ways to add a documentary-style feel to your engagement photos is by including activities you enjoy doing together. For Karisa and Tyler, the obvious choice was fishing. As kids, they would visit this property and go fishing at the pond there. It was important to Karisa that we captured these photos, full of meaning and nostalgia. I love how the photos turned out, and they had so much fun in the process!
