The Toothman wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms was as lovely and perfect as they come. Not only was their wedding full of so much love and laughter, but every detail was so intentional. I’m still swooning over the decor and florals! Emma chose the most perfect shades of blue, which created an elevated and timeless look. Check out why this venue is so incredible, along with all the inspiring personal touches from their day!

If you’re a bride planning a wedding in DFW, I can’t recommend The Nest at Ruth Farms enough. It’s a classic wedding chapel with a modern white barn reception space, perfect for elegant weddings. Everything about this venue just makes sense. From the layout of the venue itself to the location of the getting-ready suites and the stunning ceremony options, every detail was thoughtfully designed with couples (and vendors like me!) in mind.
And if you value high-quality, timeless imagery to match your day, this venue offers a variety of indoor and outdoor backdrops for portraits with soft natural light. As a wedding photographer, I felt so inspired here! I’m obsessed with how all the photos turned out for the Toothmans—especially during the most gorgeous golden hour that God blessed us with. I can’t wait to document more weddings at The Nest at Ruth Farms!

My favorite wedding details are always the ones filled with meaning and sentiment. The Toothmans sprinkled in so many personal touches, I can’t help but share!
Emma’s “something old, something borrowed, and something blue” was a dainty cluster of blue flowers (pictured in the detail shots above!). This adorable piece of jewelry is from her grandma. How precious is that!?

Moving on to the most important part of the day, when they said their “I dos”, Emma’s dad hand-made the wooden cross that stood proudly behind them during the ceremony. While they shared their vows and took communion, the cross was a beautiful testament to their faith and an important reminder of the covenant we share in Christ. It’s thoughtful details like this that make a wedding day so memorable!

To end the night, the guests sent the couple off with a bubble exit as the Toothmans drove away in style with Graham’s grandfather’s vintage car. With the cutest “Just Married” sign on the back, this was such a fun way to wrap up a night full of dancing!
